THIS PROGRAM MAKES A LOUD SCARY NOISE WHEN THE KEYBOARD COMES UNPLUGGED. DO NOT INSTALL IT IF A LOUD SCARY NOISE COMING FROM YOUR COMPUTER WOULD BE A PROBLEM.
What it does:
Keyboard Keeper is a small init I wrote in response to my school's computer lab admistrator's request for software that would prevent students from unplugging keyboards or other ADB devices accidently or on purpose. About five seconds after the keyboard or any other ADB device becomes unplugged Keyboard Keeper will start emitting a very annoying alarm type sound and if you are within earshot of whoever unplugged the keyboard you can tell them to either plug it back in or tell them that unplugging ADB devices while the computer is on is not good for the system.
How To Install
Just Drop Keyboard Keeper in the System Folder of any ADB equipped mac. There may be certain incompatibilities as I have only tested it on a few different kinds of macs. If this happens restart the computer holding down the shift key and take keyboard keeper out of your system folder.
